APPROACH
How matters are handled
Charitable institutions are taxed and regulated differently from businesses. Registration, application of income and FCRA conditions are reviewed together, so that tax exemption and foreign-contribution compliance stay consistent. The move from the Income-tax Act, 1961 to the Income-tax Act, 2025 is reviewed for each institution, including renewal dates for existing registrations and approvals.
01
Status review
Registrations, approvals and deeds are reviewed.
02
Records
Books and registers are aligned with the conditions.
03
Audit and returns
Audits are conducted and returns filed.
04
Renewals
Renewal and reporting dates are tracked.
